So....whatever happened to getting Lincoln Avatars??? Having seen boards with Avatars 100 X 100 or smaller seem to load quite fast. Just not enough interest????

Id like to have them, After reading this posting for the first time Im turnin my attach signature option off. I had no idea that it slowed dial up users upload so much. I read the signature rules carefully and thought that the size allowed wouldnt cause any problems. Sorry to you dial uppers, I hope it wasnt so bad that theres and applause after reading this.

I have not implemented them. I might implement them. Don't know when.

Update: As of September 9, 2006, I have activated the avatar function. Please read the rules as they are VERY strict.

I am using dialup, and I don't find the photos in signatures to be a problem with uploading - certainly you should keep the links.

Ill probably put my links back up but not my pic. I noticed almost no one else has their pic in their signature so there must be some hidden courtesy that im unaware of. I support the avatars though it gives a lot more identity than just a name. Thanks
