Re: 1964 Lincoln Continental Estate Wagon
Wow TonyC that's an amazing model collection! Any chance you could post some additional pictures of the cars? I would personally enjoy building a model painted to match my 64 convertible, but it seems the going price for 64 models on ebay is around $100 which is too much for me. The 65 model was rereleased so you pick up one of those for less than $20.

Tony, you have a great collection of model Lincolns. :thumbsup
I have a '69 built from a kit just like the one in your photo. It was already built and I received it as a kit. It is even hand painted the same exact colors: blue with a black top. I also have a '68 promo car, in a die-cast red color. I have a '65 unbuilt in the box with little time to build it.
I always liked 1:25 scale kit-based models by AMT and MPC. They also made a good portion of the built-up promo models for the manufacturers. I would love to build up a copy of my car but I am not aware of a plastic 1:25 scale model of a '67 convertible. I have been contemplating using my red '68 sedan promo car and making it into a '67 convertible in my silver-gray color.

The guy is a great photoshopper - just looks too much like the early 2000's blazers for me with some aftermarket wheels.Barry Wolk wrote:That's my friend, Casey. He just photoshopped this for me to send to my friends at Ford.
Here's his Photochop web site.

I could live without the low, but that's what I'm looking for. Being 6'5" and having a bad back, low is not the way to go.

Barry, that being the case, you must find it difficult getting in and out of the Porsche, no?Barry Wolk wrote:I could live without the low, but that's what I'm looking for. Being 6'5" and having a bad back, low is not the way to go.

It's worth it. Convertibles are pretty easy to get in and out of.
We had the Mark II and the Porsche in a show in Canton, Ohio a few years ago. A friend drove the Mark II and I drove the Porsche. I was crippled for a week.

Hey Hoodie, how the hell are you? Havn't chated with you in a long time. You ever get your Lincoln on the road? I drove mine for about four months but I had put an automatic brake adjuster on wrong and every time I backed up the brakes got loser. Finally got that fixed but now I have to jack the darnd thing up and adjust the brakes and bleed the system. A lot of work for an old man. Ha! Pete
