Replace radiator and surge tank with modern system

Post by rhubarb9999 »

I have the radiator out of my 64 LCC to add an electric fan. In addition I was going to change the thermostat. I seem to remember at one point a post by someone that redid the whole surge tank system with a standard radiator (with a cap) and an expansion tank. I have searched every way I can think of and can't find anything. Was I dreaming?

I think this is the correct thread, but not sure if it is the only one out there.
