the plate was originally attached to the hoses with a thin aluminum strap. Don't know where you'd find one today. Wayne

One could be easily made from an aluminum can. size of strap is 5/16" x 10 1/2" long. I put up pix of both ends, too. It loops into itself to wrap around the lines.
BTW- The tag listed in the link for sale, is correct... almost. The A/C tags for 61-64 had the year stamped on them as in the OP's picture and on the one I posted.
Not a deal breaker and better than nothing. IMo

Try a metal zip tie. Not 100% correct, but close.

Stainless steel cable ties. How about that ! Those thin aluminum tag straps are pretty frail and these SS ties may be just the ticket.

This is an old thread but I just bought 10 aluminum ties from the Lambretta people in New Hampshire. Total cost was $12.00. You can find their listings on Ebay.
