The only fitting that I see behind the carburetor on the intake manifold, is for the vacuum line that goes to the fuel pump vacuum inlet.
I believe that the heat tube insulation was originally carbon infused asbestos and it is no longer available. The replacements are either silicone or fiberglass with aluminum coating. The Dorman kit has the fiberglass sleeve, but I believe it may be too small in diameter for your tube. Summit Racing and Sppedway both sell insulation tubing.
