Correction, the junction block is not on the caliper, it in on a bracket that goes between the caliper bolts.

Re: Brake parts -- save some green
I bought the front hoses locally. They look just like the hoses in the parts manual. i am trying to replace the hose on the pass side. It comes from the crossover metal line to a junction box on the caliper. There does not seem to be any nut on it. It looks like it is part of the junction box. I hav...

Re: classictube.com TOTALLY BLEW IT.
Cliff,
Did you send the old ones to inlinttube? I just called them and they said they don't carry them, but could copy from the originals. Do you know how you talked to or do you have an invoice number I could have them look up?
thanks

Dan,
I bought a can of spray undercoating. Sprayed both side 7 or 8 times lightly. It seemed to work well.

Re: I must share the worst experience of my life with you
I just ordered a timing cover seal from Lincoln Parts Int'l in California. Talked to Dan. He started th company up again and has his father Jeff working. The part was $25.00 which is 5.00 more than the listed price of the others, the others price may have gone up also. When I asked what the shipping...

Re: Dropped my oil pump shaft into the pan
Dan,
This may be easier than pulling the pan. Pull the the timing cover. Yes that means pulling the water pump, balancer, ps pump. There is an inch or so opening that you could fish it with a magnet.

Re: Fuel not pumping - 63 LCC
This may be related. I have a 65 conv. The pump was rebuilt by Mike. The tank was relined 2 years ago with a rebuilt fuel sender. New fuel lines installed. After worker on the timing cover, it started but cut off after a few minutes. It would start with starting fluid but it would not keep running. ...

Re: window bypass switch or window relay?
It is not the bypass switch. According to an old Bakers catalog tip around 1996, the switch is doing exactly what it supposed to do. It bypasses the power and the relay and get power to operate the windows. Call Steve at Bakers to verify. You need to check or replace the relay. Tony Maria It was the...

Re: package tray 1965 convertible
Steve, I have seen the piece you are talking about on your car. This is the piece that the convertible top is attached to, it is not the piece that is attached to the deck lid and extends out when the top is in the trunk. Both pieces are the same size since the fit in the same place. Both pieces are...

Re: Has anyone retrofitted a coolant overflow tank to a 66-69?
Jed, I have a 65. I used a black oil container. I drilled a hole in the cap, the same size as the hose that drains from below the radiator cap. I drilled another hole on the slanted part of the oil container. I fed a hose through this hole up threw the cap opening and attached a small hose clamp abo...
