The other fiberglass alternative is from Chino and Sons. They are working on theirs which i'm told is more reasonable in price. The best to me is a good solid metal replacement however they are getting harder to find.

Re: 1965 Lincoln - Sitting for 37 years-Gas Tank & Fuel Line Questions

If your tank is too far gone or develops holes upon trying to clean it, you do have this option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/333528049969?fits=Year%3A1965%7CModel%3AContinental%7CMake%3ALincoln&itmmeta=01HSM38MW1RAEK736XPJVG62HG&hash=item4da7d22931:g:Z84AAOSw2zBeJx6a&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0E...

Re: 1965 Driver's side door question

HEIC format is tricky. A lot of programs/sites don't recognize it. On a Mac you can drag it to the desktop and double click to open it and then export it as a JPEG. In Photos you can open the pic and then go to File > Export > Export 1 Photo and then select the JPEG format. 1963 Lincoln Continental ...

Re: 1961 Lincoln maximum wheel width

Ali at Isotope should be able to answer this for you. If not, I'd suggest going with Colorado Custom Wheels. They are the BEST in the business (billet wheels) plus have amazing customer support. Michael can give you the specs including ensuring the wheels will work with upgraded brakes. https://colo...

@appleco1 where are you located? Blair Farmer in FL is one of the top guys in the country with tops. He is in Clearwater, FL. Tony "Boss" Bolin is near me (he's in New Port Richey) as well and he is great. I know Tony is booked out a good bit though. You might try John Cashman to see if he...

Re: Adding Factory AC to non AC car

I installed a Vintage Air system in my '67 however I never ended up finishing the car and someone wanted to buy it from me so I sold it (around the time I purchased another convertible so it worked out nicely for me). It is def possible and I would recommend you have someone install it for you that ...

Rich would be arguably the BEST around: https://www.lianarestorations.com He is in TN though. I'm not certain of anyone in the areas you mentioned. The challenge is often shops will take on a job and then get into and realize they don't know enough about Lincolns. Blair Farmer and Theresa "TC&q...

Re: 1967 Top hydraulic cylinders - this doesn't look right ???

Well I will say that was just my thought on possibly what happened. I'm not 100% sure but others chimed in on what they think as well. Good luck! Def seems odd that it is tweaked so much!

Re: 1967 Top hydraulic cylinders - this doesn't look right ???

Love the color! Ouch! Looks to me that the top was locked and someone kept holding the switch to try and put the top down which caused the cylinders to be massively tweaked. Time to call Hydro-E-Lectric - https://www.hydroe.com/search/ They also have an eBay store which you can checkout. If you call...

Re: Source(s) for 1963 fuel tank

I am not certain the '61-'63 gas tanks are even remade. I know they are getting HARD to find. A buddy of mine Tony "Boss" Bolin just worked on a guy's 61 in South Tampa. He had a non factory tank although the hold in the trunk floor lined up with the sending unit perfect... it took us a bi...

Re: 66 Continental Convertible Rocker Panels

A buddy of mine, Tony "Boss" Bolin sold some nice parts to a guy in South Florida that would probably help you in this circumstance. The car was badly damage in an accident. After Tony sold the shop the parts the customer decided not to proceed ahead. If you need parts and don't wan to go ...
