Re: Electric Lincoln concept: The Star
anyway Lincoln has to go electric to stay alive and relevant as a brand. full stop. the marque is in enough trouble as it is. Engines will still be needed to do hard work and fuel for those engines will still be needed. the fuel is going to be insanely expensive pretty soon and that is pretty much i...

Re: Electric Lincoln concept: The Star
We can disagree. I prefer minimum 2 pedals, and for some cars, 3 is a must. And also, a real parking break. How can you do good donuts without a proper level or pedal? I just dont see the point in that kind of driving. Why not self drive? Or...if I was to have a machine drive me around, Id just cal...

Re: Locked toolbox
Dude call the bloody manufacturer for some advice. This can't be the first time in history this has happened. Good companies that sell good products will provide you with tech support and advice FOR FREE if you ask nicely. They designed the thing so they should know how to fix it, or tell you how to...

Re: Fully electric Lincoln concept vehicle
Good. Maybe my Ford stock will go back up. Don't understand the electric vehicle fad. There is still a fundamental problem of producing enough energy to run what we have now. Solar panels and wind generators ain't going to be able to keep with the demand. Maybe in 200 years the technology will adva...

Re: What is your Lincoln getting for Christmas?
hmmm I will need a new brake light switch and a front passenger window motor for my 62 to start with. I'm also considering getting my windscreen polished (due to a crazy haze/distortion caused by streetlights and sunlight) and I'll need a new set of headlights bulbs or spring for some sort of upgrad...

I can get Type F fluid at Crappy Tire, FYI. It is the generic motomaster brand, however. I use it regularly without issues for emergency top ups.

Re: Why is it so hard to find an Auto Painting Shop?
Don't get a job just because it is "cheap". You want this to be done once and done right. It is worth paying a little extra, or taking some extra time to ensure it is done right because you'll sorely regret it. If the result is shitty and you'll be reminded of how shit it is every time yo...

I agree! Although I'm not crazy about the design of the chrome wheel, this is the best option.dcm5652 wrote:The chrome looks better than the black steel, I would prefer them with white-wall tires over the white-letter. What did the original wheel covers look like?

Re: Top operation help
This sounds like a job for: na na na na na na na na CASHMAN!!! But seriously, give John Cashman a call and he will likely be able to help diagnose the issue over the phone..... if you can reach him and if he is still taking calls such as these. http://www.convertiblelincolns.com/ good luck. Re: Royal Red 62 headed to the paint booth soon - color matc
a good shop should have some sort of device that uses a lazer to analyze the paint.
I had that done on my car prior to re-painting and the match is perfect and possibly even better looking than original.

Re: Wow I Am In Love
My wife and I have an SUV and a 4 door luxury GTS car, aside from my lincoln. Each car has its own uses/value to us and we have seen the benefit of having different vehicles with different capabilities. I am likely going to get a Model 3, but I'll wait until the second year of actual production befo...

Naww, don't give up on it. I did that once for the wrong reason, and I regretted it every day after that. Frankenstein always is giving me reason to gripe, but as long as the structure doesn't collapse on itself I refuse to give him up. Besides, we don't need to lose your input. ---Tony Hey, wow th...
