Re: 2009 Lincoln MK S is Shown at LA Car Show
Update again!! The MKS is STILL ugly and the sales figures reflect that, I have only seen one "yes just ONE" on the road and they have been out for YEARS now

Re: Replacement Shocks 90+ Town Car??
A 90 through 2002 would be physically the same parts. The original manufacturer was tokico. As far is having the same tuning I would imagine they would be close enough as I have noted the ride in my 2002 does not differ significantly from that of my 1995. That said it is slightly firmer but nothing ...

Re: Replacement Shocks 90+ Town Car??
Actually the idea of looking in a salvage yard for replacements Is not all that far fetched. Any originals you could find from 1990 until 2002 would be the same obviously with the later years being the better choice for wear and so forth.

Re: Town Car vs: Continental
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote To the contrary a Continental "any vintage" will turn into a "loosy-goosy" rattling, squeaking, clunking ratle trap long before reaching 6 digits on the odometer. I have 94k on my '95 Continental and it has...

Re: Replacement Shocks 90+ Town Car??
Which TC is better? Also what shocks did you put on? OEM Shocks for "Touring Series" My 95 Cartier Was HANDS DOWN! a better riding car than my 02 Cartier. Moreover the quality of materials in the interior was a higher standard or more plush "if you will" And the list goes on and...

Re: 2009 Lincoln MK S is Shown at LA Car Show
Update!! I just saw my first MKS "in person" at Sanderson Lincoln Mercury in Glendale AZ. To make a long story short, I will not be looking to buy one of them EVER! I was dissapointed in EVERY way. But what burned my butt the most was the annoying headrests, I could not sit back in the sea...

Re: 2009 Lincoln MK S is Shown at LA Car Show
I thought '07 Town Cars were relegated to fleet sales only? Statements like the one above SPEAK VOLUMES as to how poorly the Town Car is / was marketed Quite the contrary Dan; Town Cars were available retail in all three series in 2007 Signature, Signature Limited, Designer. My quest now becomes to...

Re: 2009 Lincoln MK S is Shown at LA Car Show
There was no Town Car. Since Wixom closed in May they have not made any Town Cars. They were supposed to transfer production to Canada, but that has yet to happen. Could it be that they are just silently killing the TC? Jeremy Sad But True ?? I hope not, I feel that "Town Car" done right ...

Re: The Lincoln MKT concept

Re: The Lincoln MKT concept
We have to realize that Lincoln also needs to make some money building cars. The MKT is more practical than a little two seater. If you look at that concept, it is very similar to the "new" Thunderbird which was not a commercial success even though the initial reviews were wonderful. Yes ...

Re: 2009 Lincoln MK S is Shown at LA Car Show
Guys, if you want a Town Car, grab a Mercury Grand Marquis while you still can. They are a smaller version of the Town Car. I have one and love it. The Grand Marquis and Town Car are similar yes, The same No. As you point out The Grand Marquis is actually smaller, The Two cars actually do not share...
