Yes, I agree, if working on and getting parts...and bitching about the price for parts for the 61 and up was difficult , these '60 and earlier are insane. Unfortunately my windshield is smashed. I haven't found a replacement yet, but am in no hurry.

In the light that this car has been sitting for so long and that these motors are so expensive to work on , more than likely it will get a complete different motor and trans from a newer vehicle. One of the first know mods would be to change up the convertible top, so it has more of a fastback roofline. Along with that some reshaping of the trunklid to more follow the fastback line as well.
