Hi, searched the archives and could not locate any info on a correct under hood pad. I see some on Epay. And direction to look? Mine is MIA.

Re: 1979 Lincoln Continental - Fuel Odor When It's Not Running
The fuel pump is on that side of the 400 motor, visible from under the car. There should be a flex line from the car Boyd’s to the pump and a hard line up to the carb from there. My guess is the flex line is rotted or leaking from either clamp. Jack it up, crawl under, and push on the rubber line a...

Would be to me, and I’ll bet once others notice that their’s are missing, (or look like crap) they will jump on board. We’ll see.Dan Szwarc wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 7:06 pm It's just a foil label. Should be easy. But is it worth it?

1977 Wiper Issue Fixed……..thanks to this forum!
After replacing the wiper switch on my ‘77 Glass Top, I still had wipers that would stop and not park. BUT, looking thru the archives, I found a post from 10 years ago outlining the same issue. Reading further, it explained how to remove the white cover of the motor and VERY CAREFULLY clean all the ...

Re: Wiper assembly?
As a final update, I wanted to tell everyone that I DO have working wipers!! Rather than spending $300 for an intermittent switch, I purchased a 2-speed switch with the pigtail from Browne Salvage and wired it up. The system now works perfectly!

Yep, but this material was in stock. Shipping this week.

Re: 1977 Headliner?
So as a follow-up, I ended up ordering my correct headliner by the yard from SMS. It was a little over $200 with shipping and my trimmer will probably charge me another $400 or so for the make up and install. Not cheap but it will be done properly correctly

Hi guys, anyone know I might obtain a pair of these? The Ford decals are everywhere………but these I’ve never seen. By the way those for the Mark cars are different.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Dash Removal On a 77 Continental
All 1975-1977 Continentals had the same dash as shown above. The big change came in 1978 with a design that closely mimics the Ford and Mercury dashboards.

Re: Non-working electric door locks!
I HAVE LOCKS! Turns out, one of the ground connections was corroded. I opened it up, sprayed contact cleaner and blew it out with compressed air. After reassembly, the locks are working with perfection. So the moral of the story is to open and check the contact points. This Lincoln sat in a building...

Non-working electric door locks!
I like to have everything work on my newly acquired ’77 Town Coupe. My door locks would not operate so I went to work. I have all the wiring diagrams and I’m ready to pull my hair out. After working probably 9 hours yesterday on removing both door panels and testing the left side actuator, (the righ...

Wiper assembly?
Hi, I’ve decided I need to find a good used intermittent wiper assembly, including the yellow boxed governor showing in the pictures, not just the switch for my ‘77 Town Coupe. Anyone have all these pieces? I believe all these assemblies are the same for Fords in the mid ’70’s. I need however the 10...
