My grandmother had a '74 Torino Sport with a 400/4V. Yes it was factory!


I was mistaken! It was a 2V! They had a '79 Cougar at the same time with a 302/4V. I had them mixed up, sorry!

Could you maybe source engine mounts from a later '60's Lincoln with the 460 in it? Sorry, I too have many questions! Nice to see someone with original ideas!

Thanks for the insight. I plan on a huge amount of work to be done. I've had my car ten years now. If I were to actually find a front sub, it would almost be as much work for me. That's why I was pondering this idea.

Modern frame

I have a '63 that has a lot of rust in the front frame area. I was wondering if the wheel base on the newer Crown Vics are close to the Lincoln's.
