Re: Wow I Am In Love
Steve Happy to hear someone getting so excited over anything these days. Certainly the Tesla is a modern marvel which deserves the accolades it receives. However good luck with it replacing fueled vehicles in the near future. The infrastructure needed is enormous. And where did you get this so calle...

Re: Suicide Doors article
Dan n someone please point to me where the article answers the question posed by its title, HOW SUICIDE DOORS MANAGE TO SURVIVE? Because I don't see it. They manage to survive because certain car companies are using the rear hinged doors on new models. Porsche recently made news with the Mission E c...

Re: '61 LCC on fire.
Good Grief Charlie Brown.. Very sad to watch. He must have felt helpless. Fire extinguisher is a great idea. A much quicker response would have been the difference between an easy repair vs. a nightmare. I imagine that the damage done to the interior, dash, gauges, wiring and all would be far more ser...

The high volume oil pump is the M57HV. Do a compression check while your waiting for the gears and chain.

Pat Do it right, take off the pan. inaddition to unbolting the motor mounts, make sure you unbolt the tranny mounts too. If in fact you have antifreeze mixing with the oil, you need to pull the heads. It is very difficult to get to the bottom nuts on the exhaust manifold. Just remove the heads with ...

Re: 1963 lincoln continental sedan tire size
Steven Absolutely correct, I was only referring to the 9.50 x14 bias ply tire. It looks right, fills the well, proper ride height,, but rides poorly when compared to the radials. I wish there was a radial that I could put on the 14 inch rim that had the same diameter as the bias ply tire. I dont want...
