Re: Re:

In my humble opinion, this is the most beautiful car on the forum. LCC, perfect color combo, just the creme' de la creme'! I agree that is a gorgeous car, but the nicest on the forum? I think Stu's 63 is a good candidate also. http://www.classic63lincoln.com/ Why not organize a poll "Nicest ca...

Re: Reliability of your Lincolns

My 1997 Town Car nerver let me down. I must say I only use it as a hobby car. Only during the summer months (april-october), about 1.500 miles a year. Even after sitting for months in its winter shelter, just reconnect the (charged) battery, turn the ignition and it starts up as if it ran yesterday ...

Re: Please help save (American) classic cars in The Netherlands

Unfortunately our protests are without results up to now. Meanwhile our new "Government" is sworn in, and they will start their destructive activities. This is a brief summary of our situation compared to you guys in the US: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j183/jur_dejong/MarkRutte.jpg :D

Re: Please help save (American) classic cars in The Netherlands

Glenn, Stuart and others Thank you for your support. To be effective, the whole branch (FEHAC, ANWB and BOVAG) must coordinate its efforts. They must organize a mass protest in The Hague with thousands of cars blocking the entrance to the city or something similar. Yesterday there was a local protes...

Re: Please help save (American) classic cars in The Netherlands

This is only one of the tsunami of sick measures the new Govt will release on the stupid public. Another hot one is the Health Care premium. The hight of it depends on your income. This will kill the middle class. In some cases the premium will be more than tripled. It is like going to the supermark...

Re: The world of Continental/ Lincoln owners

I live in Den Bosch, the south of the Netherlands. Among vintage US car owners Lincoln is rather well represented. I guess some 200 or more cars. Only very few NL Lincoln owners frequent this forum.

Re: New guy here

Hello, I am also a Lincoln enthousiast, this time from across the pond. I am totally a-technical, so every breakdowwn has to be fixed by somebody else. A costly affair. I am now owner of my 3rd classic car, this time a 1997 Town Car. My 2 prevous cars were a 65 Tbird and a 75 Mk IV. As said before, ...
