Drove from the Bay Area to Kingston, OK in a day and a half. Dropped off the golden with my mother, got some shut eye, and a good meal. We hit the road a...

65 booster, though similar, is a one year only booster. It will not interchange with 64 or 66. I believe it's due to a difference in the contour of the firewall.

Also, the Bakers bushing had instructions. though not much help if your not sure what you're looking for/at. It's one of those jobs that would be much easier if you ever had to do...

just out of curiosity, can someone explain to me how an electric fuel pump is supposed to prevent vapor lock? If vapor lock is caused by the boiling of fuel, how can the delivery method prevent this? At the point where VL occurs, across the top of the intake manifold, fuel is being pushed in either ...

B) steel fuel line from pump/filter to carb with foam rubber insulation C) Having necesssary heat shield installed in front of fuel pump. D) In tolerance length of fuel pu...

thats a little better!!! sounds like you have a stuck cylinder and/or restricted or blocked fluid flow to and from it. is the sticky cylinder the one closest to the pump (pass side) or farthest(driver side)? if its the far cylinder, try pulling the inlet hose to see if you are getting adequate flow ...

I agree with Dan, your gonna have to do better than that mac! There is some good advice available here but i doubt any of us are psychic! if you don't have one yet, better buy a manual, it covers the top system very well. at the very least will leave you with some understanding of the components inv...

if you truly have water in your oil they will seperate. water will sink to the bottom, and oil will rise to the top. its likely you are mixing in years of sludge build up and or condensation from the crankcase and/or valvetrain. I would do another oil/filter change. if there is any concernable amoun...

Have you tried reversing the cycle when it cuts out? Is it possible that the top lock limit switch is missadjusted causing the lock motor to cut off prematurely?
