Patch Panel

I bought my Lincoln (all original) from a guy who apparently had all of the body work done (and done right) blah blah blah... Well I have been customizing it and right in front of my rear wheels on both sides, have since cracked and broken apart. This is okay, because I haven't gotten it ready for p...

'66 Exhaust Kit?

Does anyone know a decent place to purchase an exhaust system for a '66 Continental Sedan? I only need the front half. Manifolds to the resonators. I do not need the resonators or mufflers. I know that I can get it from Baker's Auto, and have bought things from them before, but they are a little ric...

Re: '66 Wiring Diagram

Baker's Auto sells Wiring Schematics for '67 Lincolns, but not a '66. It says that the wiring is very similar. Would most of you Lincoln experts agree? I know that the cars are very similar, with the exception of a few styling pieces, to the best of my knowledge. Anyone's advice would be apperciated...

Re: '66 Wiring Diagram

Hey Dan, I have almost everything figured out getting all the electrical hooked back up under the hood, BUT I ran into one big snag. I am missing a wiring harness somewhere. In your picture http://www.dannann.net/eriamjh/66detailing/Part%205_files/DCP_1059.jpg I don't have (whatever) plugs in to the...

Re: '66 Wiring Diagram

Very nice Pics. It looks like you've documented a build once or twice before.
Thanks alot, I think these will be helpful. With a little luck, we'll see what I can come up with in the next week or so.

Thanks again. :smt006

'66 Wiring Diagram

Does anyone have or can reffer me to a Wiring Diagram for a '66 Continental Sedan. I am specifically looking for all electrical wiring under the hood. I am trying to put a "factory" engine that belongs in this car back in and am not sure where all of these wires and plugs need to go. Thank...

2x2x1/4" wall on the two link. As far as tubbing for the wheels, I had to go UPward. I needed about another inch and a half. I haven't finished putting the new tubs in yet. They are going to be a bear to weld up inside there I imagine. I'm waiting to get my new rims (hopefully I'll pick them up...

Yes, the bags are on the bars. The center of the bag is about 10" from the edge of the axle housing. Then I have the bag somewhat to the inside of the bar (closest to the driveshaft) so that the bag wouldn't rub on the inside of the subframe.

Just finished air ride - PICS

I just finished up my air ride that i've been doing for the past few months now. I fabricated a bolt on 2-link with the bags on the bars. 2-link bars are 30" long. Panhard bar is 27" long. I modified the lower control arms to accept a larger bag and get the amout of drop that I needed. I a...

Missing 66 Conti' Chrome Trim

I've got all of my suspension finished finally and was getting ready to put the car back together for the first time sicne I bought it (in pieces). I started gathering the trim from the box that it was given to me in. And I'm missing a few pieces. Does anyone have, or know how much is a reasonable p...

Stabilizer (& Strut Rod) Bushings? - where to get them?

I have a '66 Continental. I am re-doing the suspension and the front uses a stabilizer arm that bolts to the lower control arm and goes forward angled in towards the radiator. Here, they use a large rubber bushing. Both of mine are junk. Does anyone know where to get these bushings (new)? Thanks in ...

I just called Troy's shop and talked to one of the builders. He said that it was an S-10 spindle and they typically use S10 or F-Body spindles when doing conversions. He said specifically on the 67 Continental that they did, since the stock spindle is so tall, they had to build all new upper control...

Bumpers - what year range?

I have a '66 Continental and am getting close to the point of my restoration where I will need a new front and rear bumper.

What year range do the Continentals use that same style?
My thought was just the 66 & 67. Is that correct?

Thanks

I've got a question. If I want to list my vehicles in my signature and have the text hyperlinked to a new page with a picture, how do I do that, or what is the code?

Thanks.

Awesome! I did a search and have found people talking about a 2" drop spindle for a '95 Impala might work. I used to have a '96 Impala and recently sold unfortunately. I could have just taken it apart and checked. Before I go buying a set, I'd love to find out if anyone has actually done this f...
