Hi.. what size rearend does this car have? is it an 8.8 or a 9"?

Also, what is the bumper material? is that metal or aluminium? (sorry know in wrong spot).

is 56 the same style as a 57? sorry stupid questions figured I would ask rather than spend 3 hours looking online.

I was talking about the splined part.. where is this bolt? I see a hole in the middle of the piece but no bolt. I don't want to try and hammer it off and break something. It is a bit different than the 64 in the pic? Thanks again..

I am trying to remove the bracket on the steering box that the rag joint would bolt to. typically there is a screw you need to take out but I don't see one. Do I need a slide hammer? is there a trick I am missing? my repair manual does not show it. Thanks... J

I have a 61 LCC and need to look at changing the steering, will a 65 match up?? the 61 looks twice as big...

I have a couple of these, are they 9 3/4's?

Is there a market for them or the axels or just take to the crusher?

figured it out, still trying to get the seal out but have not given up yet. any thought on getting those seals out of the top sector?

Hi, my steering is leaking at the splined neck. Is this a simple gasket replacement or something else? how do you replace if it is different?? Any info. Cheers, Jason

of the two power steering lines, which one is high pressure and which is low pressure? I can't find it in my book of info.

Stock lincoln rearend will accept a 31 spline 9 inch 3rd member .The stock lincoln axels will work on the 9 inch ,but stock lincoln axels are like 1/4 in shorter .

I have a bad axel and heard that you can swap a 9 3/8" with a 9".. is there much difference?

Can you change it to a 9" and use the same axels? what years anyone?

Is it an 8 3/4" or is it different? how do I tell?
