They did not know s--- about it, just guessing. And it is probably too old for anybody to come up with any provenance. I need to find somebody who has seen a picture of it somewhere. I guess I have to make up a story.

We can't identify anything as a legitimate part. Just has that 'automotive look'. For lack of anything else we will call it Edsel's Candy Dish for now. Maybe somebody has an old picture of Edsel and it will show up on his desk full of peanut M & M's.

Came from an antique dealer in Maine who had it on the shelf. Does not have the usual side supports you might expect on an ashtray. The thing I find most curious is that of all the Lincoln folks I can find at LCOC, Foundation, etc., nobody has seen one like it? Maybe Edsel used it for M & Ms? Or...

Albums for Lincolns
There were distinct albums for each of the 3 years. I have had them and sold them at different times. They are DEAR. Like $1800 per copy if you can fiund them, frequently the little transparencies are missing.

WHITE 1941 Continental Cabriolet???
Franklin Mint is issuing through a specialty retailer, a WHITE 1941 Continental Cabriolet, suggesting that ONE car was built in this color in 1941, can anybody authenticate this??
