Re: 64-66 Radio & other Instruction hang tags

Have hang tags for 1965 Guidematic, speed control, and disc brakes. Also have AM-FM radio guide.
PM me with your e-mail so that I can send pics. For some reason, I can't upload pics here any more.

Re: I finally have an MKZ!

Looks great John! As you know, the interior color is the same as mine. Not really hard to keep clean, you just have to pay a little attention to how you treat it. If you wear jeans or dark colored clothing a lot, I would suggest using a seat cover or towel, as you could get dye transfer which is alm...

Re: 2020 Lincoln Centennial Homecoming Aug. 6-9: CANCELLED

That's terrible news! A huge loss to their family as well as the Lincoln community. Sincere condolences to their family and friends.

Re: Narragansett Reproductions fiasco

I found this. Maybe they no longer do the wiring. https://www.vintage-mustang.com/threads/alloy-melals-products-website.1153800/ https://www.manta.com/c/mm3x6ws/alloy-metal-products-llc This place says they'll duplicate your original wiring harness if you send it to them. https://www.ynzyesterdayspa...

Re: 1963 keys

The lock set in your link should work. I would call or e-mail the vendor to clarify things.

Re: 1963 keys

Mike, the keys you have are correct for '61-'63. The key on the right in Stu's picture is the trunk key for a '64, one year only.

The lock cylinders are Lincoln specific.

Re: 1972 Mark IV color combination

You MIGHT find your answer in the 1972 Color and Upholstery Book. Seen here: https://www.lincolnlandinc.com/browsePr ... tegory~762
I would think that there would be no reason why one like that couldn't be ordered.

Re: Width of 62 whitewalls?

The narrow whitewall is correct for '62. With that being said, some dealers would install the wide whites IF the customer requested them. Obviously, not many people requested them.

Re: 2020 Continental prices

Yes, just remove the last zero and move the decimal point to the left, and the prices would be accurate.

Re: $15k 1961 Convertible: yea or nay?

I agree with MMunger. Having owned my '64 convertible since 1996, I can tell you it's always something. Luckily, I was able to scrounge many parts at the junk yards and on E-bay in the mid to late '90s. Prices were much more reasonable in those days. I also had, and still have, good friends to help ...

Re: 1964 Lincoln AM/FM Radio - How Many Models?

Just to be clear, there were two radios for '64, Bendix and Motorola. The Bendix has no window that displays AM or FM, and the push buttons cannot be rotated. Three FM buttons and two AM buttons. The Motorola radio has the AM/FM window and the same push buttons as the Bendix. The '65 radios all have...
