I had Firestone check the tires; the fronts balanced well and showed no runout. One of the rears had some excessive runout (out of roundness) and was replaced. I'm running 32psi all around. Thanks, Dan: If you are referring to the control arm bushings, I don't know how to check them other than observing them from under the hood as the suspension is bounced up and down and from side to side. There does not seem to be any slop. What visible symptoms could I observe to know they are bad? ...

My 1997 Town Car (49k miles) has a very jiggly ride over all but the smoothest pavement. It feels like I have bad front shocks, but I recently installed new Motorcraft OEM shocks.
