Ah poor Princess Maggie, doesn't appreciate the finer things in life like MOPARS. Too bad you don't live closer as I'd take you for a cruise in my one family owned 65 New Yorker and forever change your mind. Car blows away my 66 lincoln rag top both aesthetically and mechanically. Car cruises down t...

1966 window motors
What's involved in removing a front driver's side window motor from a 66. Is it as bad as the rear doors where the entire regulator assembly needs to be removed from the door to get to the motor mounting bolts?

Tony, I'm experiencing the same situation blinking lite syndrome w/my 88 Limo. I just replaced the low beam lites w/the new sylvania bright white lights, mainly cause that's all they had in stock, and when my high beams are on for a while the lites will periodically blink. Gentlemen, Thanks for all the info. The current owner has done no work to the car, it was the previous owner, who he bought the car from a few months back. It has 2 diaphrams on the distibutor, vin number is illegible so can't confirm it's a 57. I decided to pass on the car after looking at it again...

The car is in park and by die out I mean it stalls as soon as you hit the accelerater. The carb for the engine looks like a tea pot. If it turns out to be the accelerater pump how difficult is that to rebuild?

Dan,
I have a 66 and don't have any numbness in the steering. It's tight and feels the same resistance thruout it's steering radius.

Strange Unit (Mystery Solved,well kinda)
My 62 T-bird has this marvel mystery device which was installed back in 62. When I had the carb rebuilt a few years ago we hook the unit back up. Few days later ended up unhooking it as when the car sat, it was still sucking the oil into the carb resulting in a puddle on the freshly painted intake m...
