or you could buy a used delivery van, like a frito lay truck. some of them have 4cly cummins diesels in them and are mated to a variety of automatic trannys. i have givin this alittle thought also.

yep. (solid) pushrods. cleaned them up with gasoline along with the shaft. i think the oil pump is shot, clogged or both. i am going to try some kind of "flush" for the oil system, but i'm not too optimistic. just a last resort before i start on the "frontal lobotomy" either this...
