Re: 1965 antenna reconditioned

Likely the plastic piece that was attached to the metal mast is no longer attached.
Disassembly is necessary

Re: 12 v ignition power source for pertronix

65-falcon-wire-harness-on-65-mustang-rally-pac-wiring-diagram.jpg Attached is a 1967 Falcon primary ignition wiring diagram. All FLM products will be similar for the period prior to 1968. The difference after that is the ignition switch has more functions. The ignition switch gets 12V+ from the hea...

Re: 70/71 Mark III Right hand mirror

You are only excused if you drop the matter or take action. Because based on your current thinking and limitations, it is never going to happen. And seeing your wish posted time and time again, becomes annoying to read and re-read and re-read. The annoying part is nothing has happened. (EVER) You wr...

Re: 70/71 Mark III Right hand mirror

Gee, Action, thanks a whole lot for that vote of confidence. :angry-tappingfoot: Excuse me for being a pissant little retired Army Staff Sergeant; I just don't have the equipment, or the cash to buy said equipment, Anyway, war of words aside, I still have to wonder whether the Mark III mirrors were...

Re: 70/71 Mark III Right hand mirror

There is no right hand (RH) outside mirror for 70/71 Mark III. I have gotten so used to a right hand outside mirror on my daily driver, not having one is an issue for me. There is a right hand outside mirror for Mark IV that is very similar. Pretty sure it was optional for most of the model run. Or ...

This forum does not number the posts.

I assume an antenna configuration similar to the one in about post #4

Re: Booster Check Valve Replacement Option

You would want to ask about the diameter of the grommet.
Specifically the hole size the grommet was made for.

Re: Booster Check Valve Replacement Option

I suspect the valve you got was for a Midland-Ross booster.

Re: Booster Check Valve Replacement Option

I got the one from Brewer and it's too large to fit in the booster on my January build '69 Continental Sedan, even without a grommet. John says he's sold a bunch of these even for '69's and never had them not fit. The booter check valve for 1969 Lincoln Continental is different than 1970. The boost...
