i do work right now on the road-books for the 2. Lincoln-Meeting in Germany... and i need some informations, but can´t find them in the www.
i´m looking for a list about the base prices of the continentals, mark´s and town cars between 1960 and 1985.

i did use for my rebuilt engine Dupli Color Paint... I bought this in a regular Auto Parts Store in the US. i think it was original from factory, that the grill was just chromed on the front flat surface. the inner side was just grey or silver colored.

sven, You can get the correct colors codes for http://www.duplicolor.com. DE 1621 is the blue, but I am not sure about the black. They also have a flat black rated at 1000 degress. You should be able to buy them online at http://www.partsamerica.com. Do a search for paint, and you'll see categories...

Sven, Why not just order the paint directly from Baker's? They accept cc's and have toll free #'s and email. Kim Hi Kim, yes it would be easy. but i know that bakers just buy this color at the normal autoparts shop for a normal price. and i dont like to pay much more money for a item that everybody...

Hi again... i have a problem with the engine color... <sigh> i visited bakersauto during my USA vacation in summer and i bought in a parts shop the engine color - DUPLI COLOR DE1621 - up to 500degrees. (Old Ford Blue) --- But it wasn´t enough for the complete engine and i can´t get this color ...

i would never remove the head if i dont have to do it. its possible that it isnt easy to get it tight again so easy.
its really easy to lift the engine. i´ve done it last weekend....
just loosing the two bolts under the engine and lift it up...
