That is excelent information to have! I put it in on dire lack of a better option once I realized I was getting no power from the distributor. It's worked to get the engine moving but it's never had a real bench test. It's a nominal part and I'd gladly replace it with modern components.

Okay. More questions.. I bought the part sold as a 1EL-9350-A NOS. I have inspected the part and it is stamped 9789 which looking up suggested it was actually made for a 1951 ford f7-f8. Was this serial number on all the fuel pumps made for these cars? Rebuild kits for the 9789 sold by then&now ...
