Sorry- I just found out what that which I sought was called. It's rubber/vinyl/cloth trim in a "U" shape cross section or else "P" shape that covers metal seams.

I'm looking for a source for black windlace for my 1962 Convertible. Steve at Bakers doesn't stock it so I'm stumped. I enjoy driving the car and am not looking for a 100 point job, but the bare metal or ratty leftovers are getting on my nerves. I'd appreciate any help with sources. Thanks.
