Re: Neutral switch adjustment
The procedure for the '69 is very specific about the Park Reset Button and about how the "Park reset must be performed whenever the switch is adjusted", but the imagery does not identify the button in question. Where is it?

Re: Front window wiring interconnected, or?
I didn't want to bother with removing the whole assembly because a) PITA and b) This is a driver, and the time involved for my schedule was going to cut into prime driving season in PHX, so Here's what I ended up doing. I drilled holes to access the motor bolts and removed the motor. It “worked” whe...

Re: Front window wiring interconnected, or?
Well, if the panel is off, you can reach the motor wiring directly. In that year there are two wires, one red and one yellow, that go to the motor. They're both power wires, ground being supplied just by the motor's anchor points. One wire feeds power to cycle the motor downward, the other upward; ...

Re: Front window wiring interconnected, or?
OK, can anyone point me to which wires to test to direct-power the motor? I have the door panel off, but right now, with the connections re-established, if I toggle the driver's front switch, I hear a click in the door, but no movement. Note: I can't budge the glass by hand, not sure if that's norma...

Re: Front window wiring interconnected, or?
Ahh, yes, the old Percussive Maintenance method. I'll give that a shot soon, thank you. Meanwhile I'm not familliar the "master" toggle, is that a thing on the '69's?

Front window wiring interconnected, or?
The other day I went inside the driver's front door of my 69 Continental sedan to lube the tracks, addressing a reluctant/sticky window. It worked great, the window works better than it has in the 3 years I've owned the car. The next day, I did the same for the passenger front window, and again, it ...

What's the easiest source of switched power near the ashtray, 69 Sedan
I plan on installing a coolant temp gauge in where the ash tray sits on my 69 Continental sedan. What's the easiest source of switched power to tap into nearby?

Re: 69 Sedan with 460 runs and drives but shows no fuel pressure?
The problem is better, but not totally fixed. I might tweak the float level a little more, and I'm also entertaining the idea of a spacer under the carb.

Re: 69 Sedan with 460 runs and drives but shows no fuel pressure?
The specs appear to be 7/16 height for normal use and 1/2 inch for summer, with about 1 inch total drop. Setting them to 1/2 inch height made a big difference, but I'm going to try a little lower. Seems all their guidance doesn't account for shite ethanol fuel.

Re: 69 Sedan with 460 runs and drives but shows no fuel pressure?
Two updates: 1) went out later and looked under the hood with the car shut off, and it showed pressure on the gauge. Stumped on that one. 2) I started wondering if the hot restart problem was because the floats were misadjusted. Upon inspection, they were WAY off. Like how did it leave the factory l...

69 Sedan with 460 runs and drives but shows no fuel pressure?
I'm chasing down a hot-restart problem and I'm trying to eliminate fuel before moving on to spark. '69 460 with a 3-year old Edelbrock carb on it, with a Duralast FF3420DL 3-port return-style filter installed near the carb and a vapor return line running all the way back to the tank. It's been probl...

Preferred location to read fuel pressure?
If installing a pressure gauge underhood to more easily detect a vapor lock condition, where's the ideal place to take the reading? Obviously somewhere between the fuel pump and carb, but is there any location more reliable than another?

Re: Booster Check Valve Replacement Option
So I have the part in hand now, and supposedly the correct part number for *my* application is C4AZ2365A, which listings available on Google say is for a '64-68 with a Midland Ross booster. Mine is a mid-year-build '69. Strange.
