Re: TheLincolnForum.net Logo

toddallen wrote:Anybody know if the gear design has a copyright?

Rotary Club International uses the gear logo and has for years.

A generic gear should be OK. If Rotary Club's logo is copyrighted (and it almost certainly is), it would pertain only to that exact logo.

Re: The new forum????

56markIIdriversside.jpg It appears you no longer have to post your pictures to another website. However, posting pics as attachments takes up server space on the TLF server. As the need for server space increases, so do operating costs. If possible, please continue to post pics to other photo-shari...

Re: The future of the Forum: Look

Ken- it is. On the main page, there's a "New posts" link on the left side of the page. Also, within each subforum, threads with new posts will have a red-colored icon, and a little gold indicator. If you click that indicator, it will take you to the new posts in that thread.

Friend/Foe listings

For those who have started looking around at some of the changes, there is now a Friend/Foe listing available in your control panel. IF it works as it does on my other forum (which uses different software), then your friends will show up on the "currently logged in" list with a little plus...

Re: The future of the Forum: Look

Mark- I'd use the quote function, but it isn't working for me. :) Yes, there is a new posts link. Threads with new posts have a little yellow note next to the title. Click that, and it'll take you to the new stuff in that thread. To see only the threads with new items, click the "View New Posts...

Re: The future of the Forum: Look

Just realized, there's also a font size button on the right side of the screen in the light blue bar, just above the "logout" link. :)

Avatars are not currently turned on. There was a glitch with the system.

You can still put one in your signature.

Not the party name, the mascot. That's what was requested.

How about a sloth?

Or a weasel. Because, you know, weaseling out of things is what separates us from the animals. Except the weasel.
