the Job is done.
I´m back. New Color, good shape.
Drove back 2.000 km from Portugal to Germnay without any technical Problems.
Fuel Consumption 285 Liters. That makes About 14,4 Liters/100 km. Thats excelent.
Here are some pics from this road trip.

Yes, I did the conversion from York to sanden. I cannot tell you yet how it works. The car ist round about 2000km far abway from me. I tell you when I pick up the car I drive it back. I use a 20 W 50 Oil. http://www.valvolineeurope.com/deutsch/products/engine_oils/vr1_racing/cid(11226)/vr1_racing_20w-50 I tested serveral Oil Types. The best oil for my 71 Mark III is this Valvoline 20W50 with a high ZZDP. Oil Consuption reduced to cero. Good oil pressure. Needs to be driven carefu...

To take a 12 V source for the pertronix for a Lincoln Mark III (1971) you can use the wire from the ignition Switch to jump the resistor wire. See Pictures.

So folks,
I replaced the old 8 Track. This is thenew Retro Sound Zuma. You must cut the bezel from the backside al little. If you don´t do this, the original bezel will stay away about 3/4 cm.
