93 Octane or 90 Octane Ethanol free?

I have availability to fill the tank with 90 octane ethanol free fuel instead of the standard 93 octane premium. Will the performance be different with a lower octane level but be compensated by the lack of ethanol? Is there any real benefit to going ethanol free at this point? I'm still trying to s...

Tony, I believe the lowest hole is for winter. Figure 18 is correct. Here's my previous post on this: http://www.thelincolnforum.net/phpbb3/v ... =1&t=30539

Re: Royal Red 62 headed to the paint booth soon - color matc

I repainted my '67 and changed the color from the original Cranberry to the '62 Royal Red. My paint shop could not find Royal Red anywhere and could not match it, but I attributed that to being in Hawaii at the time. The closest l could get with modern paint is this:

Re: 66 67 AM/FM F6TDC Radio wiring

The wiring manual shows the three plug connection as yellow to the fuse, red and green to the antenna. The double male connection is blue/red to the fuse, and black to the fuse. The other double male/female connection is black/orange to rear speaker, and black/green to rear speaker. The four plug is...

Re: 67 Tilt mechanism teeth not engaging.

When I rebuilt my tilt mechanism about five years ago I remember mine worked the same way as yours. From what I remember, there are nine positions the wheel can be in, so there are five slots on the lower side and four slots on the upper side. I think it was designed so only one of the teeth engages...

Re: 67 Convertible, am I missing a piece of trim?

There is a piece of trim that goes there called a rocker panel molding extension, C6VY53101A. They're either left of right and can be found as NOS items on the web. Nick

Re: 1967 ATC: AC stuck in heat (floor) default

I've noticed that the ATC on my '67 is very sensitive to any drop in vacuum. If it blows only through the floor vent there's definitely a split or loose hose somewhere in the system. You just need to dig through the entire car to find the line causing the problem. This has happened to me when the ca...
