Re: anyone take pics of your car while driving?
I've had that experience in most of my cars. Can't say that I blame them!

Re: Low Value On Slabsides
During the real estate bubble in the mid 2000's I noticed that the asking/selling prices of LCC's experienced it's own bubble. Cars that were selling in the teens and 20's were suggenly $30K cars. I think a big part of it had to do with the notoriety that they got from the show Entourage. Everywher...

Re: Low Value On Slabsides
I can confirm values are low. I have a really nice '61 that I've been trying to sell. My last price drop was to $13,500...after a few days I got one offer for $7k. I'm taking it off the market. There's no point in selling right now. Over the next couple years I'll get all the chrome re-done and fina...

Re: 1963 430 engine troubles
As soon as I read the first post here I knew it was a vacuum leak. I had nearly the identical problem...turned out the Holley carb I was using had an extra vacuum nipple and the rubber cap was missing. I put a new cap on (with a clamp this time) and it fired up like a brand new car.

Re: Trustworthy Suspension Shop SoCal
No I'm closer to LA, but if I have to drive to SD I can. I'm going to keep looking around locally for now. I haven't even ordered my springs yet so I have plenty of time, but I just wanted to get a head start. I've been on the fence about lowering my car for some time now, but I think it's important...

Trustworthy Suspension Shop SoCal
I'm planning on installing Eaton coils up front and Eaton leafs in the rear of my '61. I could do it myself, but after reading some of the install threads on here I think it may be best left to a professional. Can anyone recommend a good suspension shop to me in Southern California? I only know of o...

Chrome Plating Bumpers in SoCal
I want to get my front and rear bumpers re-chromed. I got a quote from a guy at the Pomona Swap Meet and he told me $1800. That seems pretty outrageous to me I was honestly expecting to spend no more than $800. Another question. My rear bumper has a slight twist to it so my right side bumper end doe...

Re: How your Lincoln sits right now.
Yes it is very small compared to the Lincoln! It's very fun to drive around town and not too fast so you can't get into tooooo much trouble, but I did just get a speeding ticket a few days ago DARN!

Re: How your Lincoln sits right now.
Well I didn't get all of my Lincoln in the shot because I was aiming at it's neighbor, but you get the idea.

Re: Tips or Better/Easier way to secure the Front Grill?
I had to replace the grill on my '61 and I cannot imagine any year being more difficult. Most of it was done from the top. Obviously I had to remove the upper radiator support/fan duct first. This allows the radiator to tilt towards the engine a bit. I think it took about 4 weeks for all the scratch...

Re: new to the site with bagged 62 lincoln
Is this the one on youtube titled "only lincoln on 24's"? Nice car although I'm not a fan of wheels that big. IMO 20" looks best on this car...gotta have some tire.

Re: An LCC for a Rolls?
I've heard those "trade" offers before too. Great compliment, but always BS. A newer Rolls is so finely built it's almost sickening...I would trade in a heartbeat regardless of what each car is worth.
