Thanks action,
that is a good picture of the back end that shows the whole bumper. Mine is obviously not correct although the top bar I got from Anthony is the right one for 67 convertible. I'm going on a hike today with my bee spray to find the right one.
Thanks,
Jake

Thanks Dan
Thanks Dan, I guess I'll end up leaving the top alone for now and put the $$$ elsewhere in the restoration. The exhaust is loud and the winders still don't go up and down properly.
Has anyone had experiences with top installer from Eastern Pennsylvania or Southeastern NY?
Thanks again,

67 convertible rear bumper question
I got a facebar for my 67 convertible and now realize the rest of the bumper is from a 68 I think. There should be back-up lights on the lower half of the bumper somewhere...yes?? Anyone know where I can see pictures of 1967 Lincoln rear bumper? Thanks, Jake

top shrunk on 67 convert...advice??
Hi all, It has been a long time for me to post here. I am now in position to get my 67 on the road. After sitting dormant in the barn for 2+ years I have raised the top and notice it is in decent condition except for 1 spot on the left side at bottom of rear window and also the tack strips are compl...

Lincolns in the movies.Attn Dan!!
OK folks, I just read through all the posts hoping to jog what little memory I have. Didn't work. The movie I am thinking about was probably mentioned...all I really remember was the bad guy stopping at the motel or farmhouse with a mid to late 60's slabside convert., with the top down. He opens the...

some history on the 67 conv?
Just to get back to the original question, I have 1 of the 2200+ 67 4 dr. converts made, which is still in the barn waiting its turn for restoration.

67 Convertible rear bumper
Hello folks, I read somewhere that the rear bumper differs between the sedan and convertible in 1967. This would explain why my bumper is not bolted firmly into the trunk mounts of my 67. Can anyone explain the difference and is it only the facebar needing replacemant? Anyone know where to find one?...

window and convert top relays
Thanks for the info. It sounds like the relays in the B pillars may be bad as none of the windows work at all but there is power present at the orange wire to them. Is there a way to check the relay, (if not too complicated to explain) Thanks again everyone, I will keep trying and keep you posted on...

window and convert top relays
Thanks for the info. I have opened 2 so far and they look like new inside. No corrosion or oxidation. The relay in the B-pillar at the bottom is soldered like John T says and this is the one that hangs upside-down (in my opinion) It seems that it would have a better chance of getting corrosion insid...

window and convert top relays
Has anyone ever taken the power window and/or convertible top relays apart to clean them? My top stops every once in a while and when I tap the relays then it goes through the rest of the cycle. As for the windows, I am finding all the hidden relays and they seem to have power to at least one termin...

67 convertible power window problems
Hello I am trying to figure out why the windows dont work. Where does the power come from to the switch plates? Does power flow through the bypass switch first? I am trying to find a known good one so I can start somewhere. I jumped the rear window motors to lower them so as not to break anything wh...

original color...to change or not to change?
Hi everyone. I am trying to restore my 67 convertible and the original color was aqua. Inside and out. I am not really keen on this shade of blue-green. It was repainted in the past and is more a powder blue color outside with fading aqua interior trim. My question: Is the aqua color more rare that ...
