Re: Nic Sanford’s 77 Project II
You weren’t kidding Dan. That took far longer than I wanted it to but the other side should be easier. Thanks for the heads up, I’m a little bit closer to getting this new vinyl done, fingers crossed this weekend…

Thank you, Dan. Long time no talk to by the way! Hope you and your fam are well. For the side window trim, do you know of those pieces are also held in by fasteners? Appreciate you man.

Re: Nic Sanford’s 77 Project II
Well fellas, I finally got the 77 out of storage for the season and got my work cut out for me. I figured I’d start by installing my new vinyl top and I’m curious. Can anybody help guide me on removing the trim around the windows? I suspect there may be some fasteners behind the B pillar, but can’t ...

Re: Nic Sanford’s 77 Project II
Ha! Thank you, Rick. Yeah the 61 is a longer project, of course. Wish I could be cruising it this summer but as you know parts don’t come cheap. The 77 was my original dream ride and I just had to be cruising something my wallet could allow, didn’t want to wait another summer. I think I might have a...

Nic Sanford’s 77 Project II
You never really get over letting go of a classic Lincoln. It’s not in near the shape of my white 77 from years back, but so far I’m happy with it. Got her fired up in about a minute after getting a new battery in, now the fun begins...

Hey guys! Good to be back, been too long. Can’t wait to get active again in here.
@Rick, yeah it was there. A few rusty coil prints but overall in good shape...

Re: Nic Sanford's 61 Project
Finally got it! Once the harness clamps came off it was easy. Fitting my hand behind the window tracks, not so much...

Re: Nic Sanford's 61 Project
Thanks man! I got a little bit further but am getting held up by window removal. I recall the window having to be rolled down to get it off the track, but don’t have my battery hooked up. Do you know how I can jump the window motor to get it to roll down?

Re: Nic Sanford's 61 Project
Alright guys, I know it’s been a while and much has happened since the last time I posted. Finally got a house and the 61 sitting comfortably in the garage. Now that it’s home I’m finally able to tear in to this build. First thing I’m trying to do is get these doors off and the manual doesn’t have i...

Re: Nic Sanford's 61 Project
Well I'll be a SOB. Finally got these exhaust manifolds off. Well, one of them anyway, but the main bolts on the other side are loose and ready to come out. Ended up taking a chisel to loosen up 2 of the brass bolts, but that did the trick. Now to get a new timing chain set, and clean this thing up,...

Re: 61 Wiring Diagram & Schematics
I believe the wiring diagram is at the back of the shop manual. https://www.thelincolnforum.net/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=28049 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Action There is a diagram, but it isn't quite as detailed as the separate 63 Wiring Diagram & Schematic that I have. If anybody knows of a separat...

61 Wiring Diagram & Schematics
Does anybody know the wiring differences between a 61 and a 63? I have the 63 schematic which is the kind of detail I'm looking for for my 61, and figure if they're similar enough I'll just use the 63 schematic. If anybody knows where I can get the same diagrams for my 61 I'd appreciate it!

Re: Speed Control Delete
Nic, I really wanted to have both. I went so far as to ask Baker's and Lincoln Land if they had ever found a way to move the speed control out of the way to allow for a larger MC. Steve O said they had never done it and he doubted it would work without significant modifications because of the mount...

Re: Speed Control Delete
Thank ya'll. I was considering keeping it but I've heard it can be near impossible to upgrade to a dual master cylinder with it in. It would be nice to have but since I've never used it I'm not sure if it works. Has anybody heard of a dual master upgrade with it in?
